Hillary Kew Martell
Senior Mixer | Sound Designer
Hillary Kew Martell is a trained classical musician and avid photographer who was able to combine her love of music and sound with her interests in visual arts through the world of audio post production. Although Hillary now calls Maryland home, she is a veteran of the New York post scene having worked at a number of highly-regarded audio post houses such as AudioEngine and Photomag where she was able to mix and sound design many high-profile ad campaigns for companies such as Coca-Cola (Super Bowl), Nike, Mercedes, Dunkin’-Donuts, Wendy’s, General-Mills, Budweiser, Discover Card and many more.
Choosing to step away from full-time mixing to focus on family life for a time, Hillary continued to flex her technical and creative muscle by working as a freelance engineer for a variety of projects from her home studio such as television shows for Discovery Channel Networks, Amazon Echo celebrity voices, WWE 2K20 Smackdown video game, and a number of podcasts and audiobooks including Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s autobiography. Additionally, she is proud to be working with her Alma Mater, Johns Hopkins University, providing a professional audio touch to their video productions at the Carey School of Business.
